Gifts from our family shop

Leather gifts for him

A little more character in his everyday carry.

Before you choose a color, think about what is in his wallet. A handful of cards calls for a different design from cards, folded cash and all the extras. Our Viking Line gives you three distinct starting points: Tyr, the card wallet; Ragnar, the stitched bifold; and Allfather, the thick riveted bifold with the most presence.

Make the workday feel a little more like them.. A warm amber laptop sleeve, a substantial wallet, and a little blue at the edge of the frame. Practical things can still have a point of view.

Make the workday feel a little more like them.

A warm amber sleeve for their laptop. A substantial wallet for their pockets. A small card wallet for days when they travel light. Useful pieces, each with a character of its own.

Start with a sleeve for the laptop they carry, then choose a wallet edition that suits their pockets. Check the sleeve’s measurements against their device before ordering.

For the person who likes things substantial.

Allfather is not trying to disappear. It is Troy’s largest, thickest wallet design, built around substantial leather and visible, hand-set rivets. It makes sense for someone who likes the feel of a well-made object and wants the construction to be part of the design.

For a stitched bifold, look at Ragnar. If he would rather keep the daily carry smaller, start with Tyr. A gift feels more personal when the design fits his habits, not just your first impression of it.

2

Let the leather be part of the gift.

Our Horween versions name the leather behind the piece. Other wallets use different North American leathers with their own color and character. The product description tells you what that particular wallet is made from. Choose the material, surface and color he would enjoy, rather than assuming that every wallet in a pattern is identical.

3

He might not need another wallet.

A journal cover or leather laptop sleeve can be a better fit for someone whose wallet is already exactly right. A custom artwork wallet can be a different kind of gift again, starting with a car, a person or a place that means something to him. The useful question is what will become part of his day.

4

Choose for what they value.

A chunky Allfather suits someone who enjoys substantial leather and exposed rivets. For a lighter everyday carry, compare a Tyr or slim card holder. Choose the design for his habits and his own style.

The edit

A few places to start.

A few good questions.

Which design should I choose if he dislikes bulk?

Start with Tyr or one of our smaller card wallets, then check the individual size and carrying layout. Allfather is deliberately substantial; we would not choose it for someone whose main priority is a wallet that almost disappears.

What makes the Horween version different?

Horween identifies the tannery behind that wallet’s leather. Check the product description for the specific material and finish. The non-Horween versions are separate pieces with their own material details, not a change in the underlying design name.
