Ember — Copper Rivets. Tyr character.

Ember — Copper Rivets. Hand-cut Horween leather, assembled with hand-set rivets in our family home shop in Bellevue, Washington.

This is the Ember — Copper Rivets Tyr — Horween edition: the individual wallet shown in this gallery, with its own leather combination and hand-set rivets. Its photos belong to this piece. Explore the other Tyr wallets below to compare colors, materials, and prices.

Ember: deep reddish brown. These color names describe the leather’s appearance; natural grain, pull-up and lighting give the surface its own depth. Use the real exterior and interior photographs to see this individual combination.

Less to carry. Plenty of character.

Tyr is the card wallet of the Viking Line. An open-pocket shape, layered leather, and a row of visible rivets keep the design direct. It carries the same bold material choices as the larger wallets in a smaller format.

The contrasting panels do the talking. Warm leather against a dark pocket, or a brown body with a different rivet finish, gives each piece a distinct face. The gallery shows this wallet and its hardware combination.

A small build, made deliberately.

We hand-cut the panels and join this pattern with hand-set rivets in our Bellevue home shop. The curved pocket openings expose the layers of leather and keep the construction legible. Tyr’s character comes from its shape, leather, and rivets.

It is the simpler carry in this family, but we give the cutting and assembly the same attention as the larger pieces. Check the real photographs for the exact pocket arrangement and rivet finish of this piece.

The leather earns its place.

This Horween edition uses leather tanned in the USA. Horween leather is central to this edition’s character: substantial material with a rich surface and variation that makes each piece individual. We select the leather for the design, then let the color and contrast of the panels give the finished wallet its own identity. The gallery shows this wallet’s leather and hardware combination.

We choose these leathers for their depth of color, feel, and character. A fold can reveal a lighter tone; handling can deepen the surface and bring out a sheen. Natural grain and tonal variation belong to the hide. With use, the surface takes on its own patina rather than staying identical to a factory-fresh photograph.

Nordic roots. Bellevue hands.

The Viking Line is Troy’s corner of And Her Son Co. Troy is Desiree’s husband and does most of the work on these wallets in our family’s home shop in Bellevue, Washington. Our Norwegian and Swedish heritage supplies the names and a little of the attitude. The designs come from the workbench: substantial leather, bold shapes, contrasting panels, and a willingness to make something with presence.

These are pieces we cut and put together here, by hand. We choose the leather, cut the parts, and build the wallet around the character of the material. The finished result carries the marks of that process: grain, shifts in color, and small differences that make one piece distinct from the next.

Made to become yours.

Give the leather time to settle around what you carry. Avoid forcing too many cards into a new pocket. Wipe away dust with a soft, dry cloth; if the wallet gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally away from direct heat. Test any leather-care product on a hidden area first, since conditioning can change the color.

Our real product photographs are the primary record of the piece. Selected styled photographs offer another view of the same design. Screens and lighting can shift how leather reads, so consider the close-ups and interior views as well as the hero image.
