And Her Son Co. started at our kitchen table, and it started as a hobby.
Desiree has always been an artist. She has made things with her hands for as long as she can remember, and not long ago she went looking for a new craft, a creative outlet the whole family could share. Leather is what stuck.

She began with tooling and carving, pressing flowers and vines into fresh hide, and she was hooked almost right away. What started as an evening hobby quickly became something she could not put down.
She brought her son in
It was not long before Wesley was at the bench beside her. He started where a lot of leatherworkers start, on wallets, learning to cut clean and stitch straight one piece at a time. The two of them have been building this together ever since, and every piece that leaves our table has passed through both pairs of hands.

Made by hand, made to last
We cut every strap ourselves from full-grain North American leather, chosen for how it will age. We stitch by hand with waxed linen thread, burnish each edge with beeswax, and set solid brass hardware meant to be used, not replaced. Nothing here is rushed, and nothing here is disposable.
Our goods are made to be carried every day, to scuff and soften and darken into something that is unmistakably yours.
Made to be used, loved, and passed down.
Thank you for being part of our story, early as it is.
With thanks,
Desiree & Wesley
