Handmade at the farmers market
Leather goods, made by a mother & her son
Her tradition. His future. Handmade to last.
Who we are
A small workshop that comes to the market
And Her Son Co. is a mother-and-son leather workshop. We design and hand-make every piece ourselves — wallets, bags, journal covers, keychains, and one-of-a-kind tooled work — and we bring them straight to our table at the market.
Nothing here is mass-produced or resold. If it’s on our table, it was cut, stitched, and finished by our own two pairs of hands.

Our story
Made by a mother and her son
It started with Desiree and a carving knife. She has always been an artist, and when she went looking for a new craft the whole family could share, leather is what stuck.
What began as a hobby, tooling and carving for the love of it, quickly grew into something more. She brought her son Wes in early, and he took to it fast, cutting and stitching and carving right beside her. Every piece that leaves our table carries both of them.
Made to be used, loved, and passed down.

Materials & making
North American leather, worked by hand
We build from North American leather — full-grain hides chosen for how they wear and age. We cut every piece by hand, saddle-stitch with waxed thread, burnish the edges, and set solid brass hardware. No shortcuts, no factory line.
