Smoked Oak & Amber. Ragnar character.

This is the Smoked Oak & Amber Ragnar: the individual wallet shown in this gallery, with its own leather combination and hand saddle stitching. Its photos belong to this piece. Explore the other Ragnar wallets below to compare colors, materials, and prices.
Amber: golden english tan; Smoked Oak: dark brown. These color names describe the leather’s appearance; natural grain, pull-up and lighting give the surface its own depth. Use the real exterior and interior photographs to see this individual combination.
A steady hand. A bold heading.
Ragnar brings hand stitching to the Viking Line’s substantial leather. The bifold opens to curved card pockets and contrasting panels, with a visible stitch line that gives the whole piece its rhythm. It is the stitched member of the family: familiar enough for everyday carry, individual enough to be yours.
Choose the quieter depth of a single brown family or an interior with a stronger contrast. The shape belongs to Ragnar; the combination of leather and color gives each physical wallet its own expression.
Built a stitch at a time.
We cut the leather parts by hand and stitch the wallet by hand here in our home shop. The stitching is part of the design as well as the assembly: it follows the panels and makes the work visible around the edges.
The interior matters as much as the outside. The curved pockets and contrasting layers are meant to be seen when the wallet opens, which is why we include real interior photographs rather than asking you to choose from a closed-wallet hero alone. Each piece is shown with its own panel arrangement.
Leather with its own character.
For this edition, we choose quality North American leathers for their feel, color, and the character they bring to the finished wallet. The mix of panels makes each piece individual: a quieter exterior can open to a strong contrast inside, with the pocket shapes and hand stitching tying the whole design together.
Leather is a natural material. Grain, surface markings, and variations in tone make one piece different from the next. Handling and daily use gradually give the surface its own patina. Look through the real photographs of your selected color combination to see the particular leather and panel arrangement you are choosing.
Nordic roots. Bellevue hands.
The Viking Line is Troy’s corner of And Her Son Co. Troy is Desiree’s husband and does most of the work on these wallets in our family’s home shop in Bellevue, Washington. Our Norwegian and Swedish heritage supplies the names and a little of the attitude. The designs come from the workbench: substantial leather, bold shapes, contrasting panels, and a willingness to make something with presence.
These are pieces we cut and put together here, by hand. We choose the leather, cut the parts, and build the wallet around the character of the material. The finished result carries the marks of that process: grain, shifts in color, and small differences that make one piece distinct from the next.
Made to become yours.
Give the leather time to settle around what you carry. Avoid forcing too many cards into a new pocket. Wipe away dust with a soft, dry cloth; if the wallet gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally away from direct heat. Test any leather-care product on a hidden area first, since conditioning can change the color.
Our real product photographs are the primary record of the piece. Selected styled photographs offer another view of the same design. Screens and lighting can shift how leather reads, so consider the close-ups and interior views as well as the hero image.
